Description

The first LEGOLAND® park was opened in 1968 in Billund, Denmark. This was followed in 1996 and 1999 by the parks in Windsor (UK) and Carlsbad (California). Then in 2002, LEGOLAND Deutschland is the fourth park of it's kind. Since 2005, the four LEGOLAND parks have belonged to the British-based Merlin Entertainments Group, which also operates other leisure attractions, such as the Sea Life centres, the Dungeons, and the Earth Explorer. At 2011, LEGOLAND Florida was opened and now in 2012, the 1st LEGOLAND in Asia and 1st International Park in Malaysia, LEGOLAND Malaysia is the sixth park similar to open.
 

Inspired by Asia’s growing love affair with all things LEGO®, the new 76-acre theme park will cater to kids from 2 to 12 with more than 40 rides and attractions – from roller coasters to race cars as well as family-focused interactive shows.

To the delight of families everywhere, LEGOLAND® Malaysia, revealed its official opening date: Saturday, September 15, 2012.
